Minimum Education: GNM or B.Sc. Nursing from a recognised institution with valid nursing registration. BLS training will be preferred.

Years of Experience: 2 to 5 years of ward nursing, inpatient care, nursing-home, or hospital experience.

Salary Range: Minimum salary: INR 32,000 per month. Maximum salary: INR 50,000 per month, depending on ward experience and shift allocation.

Detailed Job Description

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the core activities connected with the staff nurse – medical ward position. The work requires a balance of technical ability, documentation discipline, communication, and follow-through. Key responsibilities will include:

• Provide bedside nursing care, record vitals, administer medicines, support doctor rounds, and maintain accurate nursing notes.
• Prepare patients for procedures, assist with wound care, IV fluids, injections, nebulisation, hygiene, mobility, and discharge readiness.
• Communicate with patients and families about basic care instructions while escalating clinical changes promptly to doctors.
• Follow infection-control, biomedical waste, medication-safety, and handover protocols throughout each shift.

The position also requires regular coordination with managers, colleagues, vendors, customers, patients, site teams, or support functions depending on the nature of the assignment. The candidate will be expected to maintain records accurately, respond to issues in a timely manner, and escalate concerns before they create delays, service failures, safety concerns, or client dissatisfaction.
