Physiotherapist – Rehabilitation Services | Muscat, Oman Full Time

Location: Muscat, Oman

Client / Employer Type: One of our rehabilitation and outpatient therapy client.

Minimum Education: Bachelor of Physiotherapy or Master of Physiotherapy from a recognised institution. Musculoskeletal or neurological rehabilitation training will be preferred.

Years of Experience: 3 to 6 years of hospital, clinic, rehabilitation, sports-injury, or post-operative physiotherapy experience.

Salary Range: Minimum salary: OMR 500 per month. Maximum salary: OMR 850 per month, with benefits as per employer policy.

Detailed Job Description

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the core activities connected with the physiotherapist – rehabilitation services position. The work requires a balance of technical ability, documentation discipline, communication, and follow-through. Key responsibilities will include:

• Assess pain, mobility, strength, balance, gait, posture, and functional limitations before preparing treatment plans.
• Provide exercise therapy, manual therapy where appropriate, gait training, strengthening, ergonomic education, and home-exercise guidance.
• Document progress notes, outcome measures, treatment changes, and red flags requiring medical review.
• Coordinate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and administrative staff for referrals, reports, and follow-up planning.

The position also requires regular coordination with managers, colleagues, vendors, customers, patients, site teams, or support functions depending on the nature of the assignment. The candidate will be expected to maintain records accurately, respond to issues in a timely manner, and escalate concerns before they create delays, service failures, safety concerns, or client dissatisfaction. The employer expects professional conduct, respect for confidentiality, punctual attendance, and a willingness to follow internal procedures even during periods of pressure or high workload.
