QA/QC Engineer – Infrastructure Projects | Doha, Qatar Full Time

Location: Doha, Qatar

Client / Employer Type: One of our infrastructure and civil contracting client.

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related discipline. QA/QC, ISO, material testing, or inspection training will be preferred.

Years of Experience: 4 to 8 years of quality control experience in roads, utilities, buildings, infrastructure, or civil construction projects.

Salary Range: Minimum salary: QAR 8,500 per month. Maximum salary: QAR 13,500 per month, depending on project and inspection experience.

Detailed Job Description

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the core activities connected with the qa/qc engineer – infrastructure projects position. The work requires a balance of technical ability, documentation discipline, communication, and follow-through. Key responsibilities will include:

• Prepare inspection requests, review method statements, monitor site quality, and ensure work is completed according to approved specifications.
• Coordinate with consultants, laboratories, subcontractors, and construction teams for testing, approvals, NCR closure, and documentation.
• Maintain quality records, material approvals, calibration logs, test reports, and handover evidence in an organised manner.
• Identify recurring quality concerns and work with site teams to prevent rework, delays, and avoidable consultant comments.

The position also requires regular coordination with managers, colleagues, vendors, customers, patients, site teams, or support functions depending on the nature of the assignment. The candidate will be expected to maintain records accurately, respond to issues in a timely manner, and escalate concerns before they create delays, service failures, safety concerns, or client dissatisfaction. The employer expects professional conduct, respect for confidentiality, punctual attendance, and a willingness to follow internal procedures even during periods of pressure or high workload.
