Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in commerce, finance, accounting, business administration, or economics. Banking operations certification will be an advantage.

Years of Experience: 2 to 5 years of branch operations, customer service, back-office banking, cash coordination, KYC support, or financial-services administration experience.

Salary Range: Minimum salary: INR 45,000 per month. Maximum salary: INR 70,000 per month, depending on banking exposure and interview performance.

Detailed Job Description

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the core activities connected with the branch operations officer position. The work requires a balance of technical ability, documentation discipline, communication, and follow-through. Key responsibilities will include:

• Support daily branch operations including account documentation, transaction support, KYC checks, service requests, and internal coordination.
• Assist customers with routine account queries while ensuring that regulatory and internal process requirements are followed.
• Maintain accurate records, escalate exceptions, support audit readiness, and coordinate with central operations teams when corrections are required.
• Work with relationship managers, tellers, compliance teams, and branch leadership to maintain service standards during busy hours.

The position also requires regular coordination with managers, colleagues, vendors, customers, patients, site teams, or support functions depending on the nature of the assignment. The candidate will be expected to maintain records accurately, respond to issues in a timely manner, and escalate concerns before they create delays, service failures, safety concerns, or client dissatisfaction. The employer expects professional conduct, respect for confidentiality, punctual attendance, and a willingness to follow internal procedures even during periods of pressure or high workload.
